U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Monday that Tuesday represents the final deadline for Iran to reach an agreement.

Previously, he warned that failure to open the Strait of Hormuz by the specified time could result in strikes against critical infrastructure, including power plants and bridges.

Deadline Details

The President announced that Iranians have until Tuesday evening Eastern Time to open the Strait of Hormuz. The ultimatum expires at 8:00 PM Tuesday (2:00 AM Wednesday in Poland).
