USA and Israel Approach Czarzasty Over Trump’s Nobel Nomination

USA and Israel have formally requested Polish Sejm Marshal Włodzimierz Czarzasty to support Donald Trump’s Nobel Peace Prize nomination.

Sejm Receives Nomination Request

The Sejm of the Republic of Poland announced that correspondence has been received regarding support for nominating US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. Marshal Czarzasty stated the initiative came from US House Speaker Mike Johnson and Israeli Knesset Speaker Amir Ohanna.

Czarzasty confirmed the request, indicating he will consider the matter and present his stance to the public at a press conference on Monday, February 2.

Trump Dismisses Nobel Importance

During a recent media interaction, Trump declared, “The Nobel Prize doesn’t concern me.” He mentioned Venezuelan opposition figure Maria Machado symbolically transferring her award to him, adding he appreciated her gesture but dismissed Norway’s control over the Nobel Prize as irrelevant to his focus on saving lives.

Symbolic Nobel Transfer

Prior to meeting Machado, Trump’s associates had reportedly believed he deserved the Nobel. Machado subsequently announced she would transfer her award to the US leader, though some voices claimed he pressured her into the gesture.
