A van caught fire on Jerusalem Alleys in Reguły around 2:00 PM, blocking traffic towards Pruszków for approximately one hour.
Van Engulfed in Flames
A delivery van suddenly burst into flames in Reguły, on Jerusalem Alleys in the Pruszków county. The fire quickly spread, consuming a significant portion of the vehicle.
According to a witness, the incident began with smoke emerging from under the hood while the vehicle was stopped at a traffic light. Within minutes, flames engulfed the front of the van, including the engine compartment and the area around the front wheel.
Rapid Fire Development
Thick, black smoke billowed from the van, and the fire was visible from the side and underneath the chassis. The blaze intensified rapidly, fully developing within just a few minutes of the initial signs of malfunction.
Driver Reports Spontaneous Combustion
The driver, as reported by a witness who attempted to extinguish the fire with him, stated that the van spontaneously combusted while in motion. Three fire crews were dispatched to the scene.
Fire Suppression and Traffic Disruption
Firefighters used two jets to extinguish the vehicle. After the fire was contained, they proceeded to cool the remaining wreckage. Operations concluded around 3:00 PM.
Jerusalem Alleys in the direction of Pruszków was blocked during the firefighting operation. Traffic disruptions lasted until the emergency services completed their work and cleared the area.
