Ziobro Surfaces in USA: Lobbying and Press Visas Revealed

Former Polish Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro was spotted at Newark airport on May 10, 2026, allegedly entering the U.S. through political lobbying and a journalist visa from TV Republika.

Arrival in the United States

Zbigniew Ziobro is currently staying in the United States, according to information revealed by the media on the morning of Sunday, May 10, 2026. Photos from Newark airport in New Jersey confirm his presence in the country.

The arrival has raised significant questions regarding who facilitated his entry, with reports suggesting that political pressure was applied both in Poland and Washington.

Political Lobbying in Washington

According to Onet, the U.S. administration was initially skeptical about the former minister’s visit. However, the situation reportedly changed through the involvement of Patrycja Kotecka and former TVP president Jacek Kurski.

These individuals, along with politicians linked to the Law and Justice (PiS) party, allegedly lobbied to enable Ziobro’s entry into the United States.

The TV Republika Connection

Reports from Wprost suggest that Ziobro may have obtained a journalist visa as a collaborator or journalist associated with TV Republika to secure legal entry into the U.S.

When asked for comment, TV Republika editor-in-chief Tomasz Sakiewicz neither denied nor explicitly confirmed the reports, stating only that the station would present its position at a later date.

Shift in Hungarian Protection

Ziobro remains a central figure in the investigation into irregularities surrounding the Justice Fund. While he previously sought protection and political support from Viktor Orbán’s government in Hungary, the situation shifted.

Reports indicate that after Peter Magyar assumed the office of Prime Minister in Budapest, the previous “umbrella” of protection for Ziobro ended.
