Office of the City Police reported that occupants of the car sustained injuries. Police and the prosecutor’s office were present on the scene. The incident has been described as having a “criminal character” by TVN24, but no further details have been released.

Traffic Disruptions

The intersection where the collision occurred is closed to vehicular traffic, and authorities warned that road disruptions could last for many hours. The collision has caused significant congestion in the area.

Alternate Transit Lines

To mitigate the impact on public transport, the City Office has rerouted trams 14 and 20, and buses on lines 127 and 144. Line 136 heading toward Kozanów is also affected, with additional bus lines operating to replace the trams.

Weather Warning from IMGW

The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management has issued a first‑degree warning for heavy snowfall, forecasting up to 25 cm in several western and eastern Polish regions. The alert will be in effect on November 26 from midnight until 10 pm. A second‑degree alert has also been announced for central areas of Warmia‑Mazury and eastern parts of Kujawy‑Pomorze and Greater Poland.
