Incident Details

The derailment occurred at 16:29 on Saturday, January 17, at a tram stop on Słomińskiego Street near AK Radosław Roundabout. Tram 28 was traveling towards Gdański Station.

Damage and Disruption

According to initial reports, the third truck of the vehicle left the tracks. It struck a traffic light signal, knocking it over. After the incident, the tram became partially suspended at the stop level.

Traffic Impact

Tram traffic was suspended between AK Radosław Roundabout and Międzyparkowa Street to allow recovery operations. Technical services from Tramwajów Warszawskich worked to rerail the vehicle.

Restoration

Following the completion of recovery work, the tram was successfully placed back on the tracks. Tram service resumed at 17:45.
