Secret CIA Director Visit to Poland Confirmed by Minister

Poland’s minister confirmed CIA Director John Ratcliffe’s secret visit to Warsaw for security discussions.

Polish Minister-Coordinator of Special Services Tomasz Siemoniak confirmed on Friday evening that in recent days, they met with CIA Director John Ratcliffe in Warsaw. The meeting discussed security issues in Europe and worldwide, and both sides emphasized the excellent allied cooperation between Polish and US special services.

CIA Director John Ratcliffe also held talks with Deputy Prime Minister and National Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

Secret Visit

The information about the CIA chief’s secret visit to Poland was first reported by RMF FM correspondent Paweł Żuchowski on Friday. “The CIA chief visited Poland on a secret visit – I learned from my Washington sources,” Żuchowski reported on X.

When approached for comment on these unofficial reports on Friday afternoon, the Ministry of National Defense asked for questions to be sent by email. Meanwhile, spokesman for Tomasz Siemoniak, Jacek Dobrzyński, told them they had no knowledge of such a meeting.
