Tax authorities extend key declaration deadlines to March 2, 2025, as original date falls on Saturday.
Deadline Extension
The main deadline for submitting important information and declarations to tax offices is typically January 31. However, since this date falls on a Saturday in 2025, the deadline has been extended by two additional days, now expiring on March 2. The end of February also falls on a Saturday.
Taxpayer Responsibilities
Some of these forms must still be sent directly to taxpayers themselves. This allows them to properly file their income and revenue declarations with the tax authorities for the 2025 tax year.
Future Changes
The second obligation—sending information directly to taxpayers—is set to be abolished, but only starting from 2027. This is outlined in the assumptions for amendments to the PIT and CIT tax laws, published in the government’s legislative work schedule (reference number UDER105).
