A truck with Hungarian registration drove its trailer into a ditch on Wirażowa Street in Okęcie on Friday evening, completely blocking traffic.
The Incident
On Wirażowa Street, at number 29, a truck with a trailer drove into a ditch and blocked the passage. The driver of the tractor unit with a trailer apparently mistook the entrance gates and tried to turn around. While reversing, the trailer slid off the road into the ditch, thus blocking passage along Wirażowa Street.
Response and Traffic Impact
Police have closed the entrance from both sides. Three police teams are currently working at the scene, blocking entry to Wirażowa Street from both directions. Traffic on this section is suspended. Roadside assistance was called to the scene, but the first attempt to tow the vehicle was unsuccessful.
Investigation Status
Heavy equipment has been called for and is expected to arrive around 7:30 PM. No injuries were reported in the incident. There is currently no information on when the passage will be cleared.
