Polish police in Piaseczno detained a 40-year-old Ukrainian citizen sought by Interpol for a serious crime committed in Ukraine.

Police in Mazovia, Poland, have detained a 40-year-old Ukrainian woman who was subject to a red notice issued by Interpol.
Officers from the Piaseczno traffic police made the arrest. The woman had been wanted by Ukrainian authorities since 2024 in connection with a crime against life and health.
Initial Response to Noise Complaint
Police responded to a report of a loud party at a house in Piaseczno.
Interpol Red Notice Confirmed
Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered the wanted woman. While the reported party was not confirmed, a check of the police information system revealed the 40-year-old was subject to a red notice from Interpol, issued in June 2024, confirmed by officer press spokesperson subcomm. Seven-Year Sentence Awaits
The woman is wanted for a serious crime committed in Ukraine and faces a seven-year prison sentence. She was held in a police cell overnight and will soon be deported to Ukraine.
