Warsaw Police Arrest 21-Year-Old for Residential Burglaries

Warsaw-Wola police have arrested a 21-year-old man in Ożarów Mazowiecki suspected of breaking into two apartments, stealing property, and causing 32,000 PLN in damages.

The Modus Operandi

Investigators from the Wola Property Crimes Unit determined that the perpetrator gained access to the residences by tearing off external key lockboxes secured with codes. Once inside, the suspect stole items including a television and chargers, and even took potted plants.

Arrest and Legal Consequences

Police gathered evidence and tracked the suspect to Ożarów Mazowiecki, where he was arrested. The man, who was caught off guard by the officers, faces two charges of burglary combined with property damage, carrying a potential sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
