Court Defeat for Antoni Macierewicz: Ordered to Apologize for “Liar and Fraudster” Remarks

A Warsaw court ruled against former MON chief Antoni Macierewicz, banning him from spreading defamatory claims about Maciej Lask.

On Tuesday (September 30), the Warsaw District Court issued a verdict in the case involving Antoni Macierewicz, who was sued by Maciej Lask for serious and unlawful violations of personal rights. According to PAP, the court prohibited the former MON leader from disseminating statements that infringe upon Lask’s personal rights. The court also ordered Macierewicz to publish an apology statement on the X platform, visible for 14 days, and to send a written apology to Lask’s residence.

Financial Penalty and Additional Measures

Additionally, Macierewicz was ordered to pay 20,000 zloty to the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.
