A Peugeot car got stuck on road barriers after its driver abandoned it and fled on foot following an accident on Białołęka.
Accident Details
At approximately 19:30, a road traffic accident occurred on the exit from the Northern Bridge towards Myśliborska Street on Białołęka, involving a single passenger car. The Peugeot vehicle drove onto the barriers at a road junction and became suspended on the safety barriers. No injuries were reported in the incident.
Driver Fled Scene
Preliminary information indicates that the driver of the Peugeot continued straight at the junction and struck the barriers. When authorities arrived, the driver was no longer present at the vehicle, having abandoned it and walked away from the scene of the accident.
Police Response
One police crew from the Road Traffic Department (WRD) responded to the scene. One lane of traffic was temporarily blocked as a result of the incident. The damaged Peugeot was subsequently towed to a police impound lot.
