Drone Flights Banned Over Warsaw on Constitution Day

Warsaw enforces a complete ban on drone flights from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. on November 11, 2025, over most of the capital to secure the Independence Day celebrations.

Reason and Scope of the Ban

The Metropolitan Police Command, in cooperation with the State Protection Service, imposed restrictions on unmanned aerial vehicles over Warsaw to ensure the safety of gatherings related to Independence Day celebrations on November 11.

Operators violating the air‑traffic regulations face severe penalties.

Forbidden Zone Details

The ban covers a vertical range from ground level up to 305 meters and a circular area with a radius of 3,500 meters centered on Kaja Square in Warsaw.

Penalties for Non‑Compliance

Under Article 212(1)(A) of the 2002 Polish Aviation Law, anyone operating a drone that breaches air‑traffic rules may be sentenced to up to five years’ imprisonment.

Unintentional violations may result in a fine, a restriction of freedom, or up to one year’s imprisonment.
