Cause and Consequences

According to preliminary police findings, the 47-year-old quad driver failed to exercise due caution and crashed into the rear of a passenger car.

The driver of the car was sober, while the quad driver tested positive for 1.7 promiles of alcohol and was hospitalized with injuries.

Emergency Response

Three firefighting teams, a medical rescue team, and the police responded to the scene.

The regional road was completely blocked during the investigative procedures.
