Faster and Cheaper Euro Transfers, Stronger KNF Supervision as Government Reorders Financial Market Rules

Poland’s parliament advanced legislation on Thursday to streamline euro transfers and strengthen financial market oversight.

During Thursday’s Sejm sessions, the second reading of the bill took place. The day before, the Sejm Public Finance Committee reviewed the bill (print 2101), proposing several legislative and clarifying amendments, including in the matter of financial penalties.

The legislation represents a comprehensive package of changes to Poland’s financial market regulations, focusing on euro transfer efficiency and enhanced supervisory mechanisms.
