A Robinson 44R helicopter crashed in Malawa, near Rzeszów on Saturday, killing brothers Mariusz and Krzysztof Supersonow, 41 and 44, owners of the regional packaging firm SupFol.
Helicopter Crash Near Rzeszów
A Robinson 44R helicopter fell onto trees near Malawa, a village in Rzeszów County, and ignited after striking the ground early Saturday. Fifteen fire crews from the Rzeszów County Fire Brigade and a specialist drone group from KPPSP Przeworsk responded to the scene.

The deceased were brothers Mariusz (41) and Krzysztof (44), residents of Przeworsk County and owners of the local packaging business SupFol. Rzeszów County Starosta Dariusz Łapa expressed his condolences, calling them “young, entrepreneurial people actively involved in local community life, leaving behind much good and kindness.”
Emergency Response and Investigation
Both bodies were recovered on the site. The cause of the incident will be examined by the State Aviation Accident Investigation Commission.
