On Thursday, April 30th, at approximately 6:50 PM, a man was fatally struck by a PKP Intercity train in the vicinity of Pruszków station.
The incident occurred on Sienkiewicza Street, in the direction leading out of Warsaw.

The man entered the tracks in front of the approaching train on Sienkiewicza Street, heading away from Warsaw.

The train involved in the collision was number 5424/5, operated by PKP Intercity Spółka Akcyjna, traveling from Olsztyn Główny to Racibórz.
Emergency Response and Investigation
Emergency services were unable to save the man, who died at the scene. Passengers from the train were transferred to another train.
