66-year-old Włodzimierz Badurak has been the mayor of Pińczów for 20 years. He graduated from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków and postgraduate studies at the Świętokrzyska Academy. He is a certified teacher and has reviewed high school textbooks. In the recent 2024 local elections, he won in the second round with just over 3,600 votes. Due to his resignation, early elections will be held in the commune, which is home to about 19,000 people.
