Motorcycle Rider Attacks Driver, Faces Assault and Threat Charges

A 42-year-old man was arrested in Warsaw’s Żoliborz district after allegedly assaulting a rideshare driver and threatening his life.

Incident on Braci Załuskich Street

An incident involving a rideshare driver and a motorcyclist occurred on Braci Załuskich Street. The motorcyclist allegedly struck the driver in the face with a helmet.

The driver sustained a broken nose, resulting in bodily harm lasting over seven days. The motorcyclist also allegedly threatened the driver’s life, causing reasonable fear for his safety.

Arrest and Charges

Żoliborz police detained the 42-year-old man suspected of assault and making criminal threats against the rideshare driver.

The man has been charged and faces up to five years in prison if convicted.

Driver’s Account of the Attack

The rideshare driver reported being attacked by a motorcyclist while working in the Braci Załuskich Street area.

According to the driver’s statement, the motorcyclist kicked his car and then fell. The motorcyclist then approached the driver, who had exited his vehicle, and struck him in the face with a helmet, causing a broken nose and injuries lasting over seven days. The motorcyclist also allegedly made death threats.

Investigation Ongoing

The District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw Żoliborz is supervising the investigation.
