A man was killed after being hit by a Łódzkie Koleje Aglomeracyjne train near Warsaw Ursus station at approximately 11:40 PM.

A tragic accident occurred on the railway line between Warszawa Ursus and Warszawa Ursus Niedźwiadek stations around 11:40 PM. A man was struck and killed by a Łódzkie Koleje Aglomeracyjne train.

Preliminary findings indicate the man entered the tracks in a prohibited area just as the train approached. The train was traveling from Warszawa Wschodnia to Łódź Fabryczna.

Impact and Passengers

The force of the impact was fatal. The man died at the scene. The train was carrying between a dozen and several dozen passengers at the time of the incident.

Firefighters, the Railway Protection Service, and police are on site under the supervision of the prosecutor. Authorities are securing evidence and investigating the circumstances of the event.
