Three-Vehicle Crash in Dzierzążnia Leaves 20-Year-Old Hospitalized

A serious three-vehicle collision occurred Friday morning at the intersection of National Road 10 in Dzierzążnia, resulting in one vehicle being crushed and a 20-year-old man being airlifted to the hospital.

Collision at the Dzierzążnia Intersection

On Friday, July 10, at approximately 7:40 a.m., a major road accident involving three vehicles took place in Dzierzążnia, Płońsk County. The incident occurred at the junction of National Road 10 and the roads leading toward Baboszewo and Kucice.

Sequence of the Accident

The collision involved a Volvo truck and two passenger cars, a Ford and a Skoda. Preliminary police findings indicate that the 20-year-old Ford driver from the Baboszewo commune failed to obey traffic signals while traveling from the direction of Baboszewo, leading to a crash with the Volvo truck, driven by a 42-year-old from the Silesian Voivodeship, which was traveling toward Płońsk.

Following the initial impact, the Ford struck a Skoda traveling toward Sierpc, driven by a 46-year-old resident of Warsaw. The 20-year-old driver of the Ford was transported to the hospital by a medical helicopter.

Police are currently investigating the exact causes and circumstances of the accident. National Road 10 remains blocked at the scene, and officials warn that traffic disruptions may persist for an extended period.
