A man who attacked three officers from the Central Bureau for Combating Cybercrime (CBZC) in Warsaw’s Ursynów district last Friday will spend the next three months in pre-trial detention.

The Attack on CBZC Headquarters
On Friday morning, a man confronted officers from the Central Bureau for Combating Cybercrime outside their headquarters in Warsaw’s Ursynów district. The assailant claimed he was being wiretapped and harassed by the unit.
During the altercation, three officers sustained minor injuries. One officer was struck in the leg with brass knuckles and required hospitalization.
Criminal Charges Filed
On Saturday evening, police announced via X that the prosecutor has charged the suspect with several offenses, including preparing to deprive the current CBZC commander, Junior Inspector Wojciech Olszowy, and other bureau staff of their lives between April 12 and July 9.
Court Decision
Following the charges, the court has ruled that the suspect is to remain in custody for the next three months pending further investigation.
