Legal Consequences and Ongoing Investigation
The driver was sober during the inspection. He was charged under Article 244 of the Penal Code for violating a court order, which carries a potential sentence of up to five years in prison.
He was issued a 3,000 PLN fine for the technical defects of the vehicle, which he accepted. Following processing at the Wilanów police station, the prosecutor ordered police supervision and a financial surety instead of detention.
