A teenager riding an electric scooter died on Tuesday afternoon after colliding with an unmarked police vehicle on a district road between the villages of Kowalewice and Kowalewiczki in Western Pomerania.

Circumstances of the Fatal Collision
The accident occurred on Tuesday, July 14, shortly before 1:00 PM. The officers involved in the incident were on duty and returning from official tasks at the time of the collision.
Legal Proceedings and Investigation
The prosecutor stated that proceedings are being conducted regarding the causing of a fatal accident. Currently, there is no decision to detain the officers involved.
Asp. szt. Kinga Warczak from the Sławno County Police Headquarters confirmed that the driver of the police vehicle was sober at the time of the incident.
Ongoing On-Site Investigation
The teenage victim has died. A prosecutor and the county police commander are currently on-site conducting a thorough inspection of the scene to determine the exact circumstances of the crash.
