Presale as a financial lifeline
Maciej Świrski announced on the X platform that he was forced to initiate the book’s presale sooner than planned. He stated that prosecutors blocked his savings account, which he intended to use to pay for his editor and printing services. According to Świrski, proceeds from the presale will cover his legal fees and ongoing living costs.
He urged his followers to purchase the book as an act of support, arguing that while his assets have been frozen, his message remains accessible to the public. He described the purchase as a real act of support.

The book is described by the author as a collection of analyses and interviews. Świrski claims the work illustrates how the Polish legal and media systems exclude individuals he identifies as patriots. The volume is set to include conversations with figures such as Jarosław Kaczyński, Antoni Macierewicz, and Jacek Saryusz-Wolski.
Criminal charges regarding the “Fair Courts” campaign
On July 16, Jaromir Rybczak, head of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Rzeszów, confirmed that Maciej Ś. and former Polish National Foundation president Cezary J. have been charged. The allegations involve the illegal financing of the “Fair Courts” campaign and the improper funding of the Law and Justice (PiS) and Solidary Poland political parties.
Prosecutors allege the suspects abused their powers while serving on the board of the Polish National Foundation. The campaign was reportedly contrary to the Foundation’s statutory goals, causing damages estimated at no less than 8.4 million PLN. The accused transferred non-monetary assets in the form of political marketing services to the political parties, violating the Law on Political Parties.
Legal status of the accused
The suspects have not admitted to the charges and provided explanations to investigators. Prosecutors have imposed non-custodial preventive measures, including travel bans and the confiscation of their passports. The offense carries a potential sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
