Eligible individuals can receive a monthly nursing allowance of 215.84 PLN. This benefit is provided regardless of the applicant’s income level, making it a vital resource for covering medication costs or travel to specialists, even if the sum is considered modest.

Qualifying for the Nursing Allowance

The Family Benefits Act defines four key groups eligible for this support. However, a medical diagnosis such as cataracts or glaucoma does not automatically guarantee payments; local disability adjudication committees focus on the extent to which the condition hinders daily functioning.

Medical Verifications and Eligibility Changes

Successful eye surgeries that restore vision may trigger a re-evaluation of a patient’s status. If authorities determine that the barriers to daily life have been removed, the previously granted benefit can be revoked. Furthermore, medical certificates submitted with applications are valid for only 30 days.
