Stabbing Incident in Downtown Warsaw Apartment Leaves One Hospitalized

Emergency services were called to a residence on Fabryczna Street in Warsaw’s Śródmieście district on Monday, July 20, following an altercation that resulted in a 55-year-old man suffering a stab wound.

The Altercation

On Monday, July 20, at approximately 1:00 PM, authorities were notified of an injured man at an apartment located on Fabryczna Street. The 55-year-old victim sustained a stab wound and required urgent medical assistance.

Police Investigation and Arrest

Preliminary findings indicate that an argument occurred between roommates, during which a 40-year-old man allegedly stabbed the victim before fleeing the scene. The injured man was treated by paramedics and transported to a hospital.

Due to the use of a dangerous weapon, the incident has been classified as a criminal matter. Officers from the Warsaw I District Police headquarters successfully located and arrested the 40-year-old suspect shortly after the incident for further processing.
