Boss Berates Ukrainian Workers and Tells Them “Putin Is Waiting for You,” Sparking Police Probe and Company Firing

Following a viral video of a construction supervisor verbally abusing Ukrainian workers near Skawina, police and prosecutors have launched investigations into national discrimination while the employer swiftly severed ties.

Incident Recorded at Construction Hall Near Skawina

The incident occurred on Friday at a facility near Skawina in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. A video showed a supervisor wearing a construction helmet and protective vest using vulgar language directed at Ukrainian workers, as announced on Tuesday by Małopolska police spokesperson, junior inspector Katarzyna Cisło.

“To the front, you f***ing c***s. F***ing smartasses, damn it. You f***ing damned Ukrainian c***s,” the man shouted, adding, “Putin is waiting for you.” At the end of the footage, he approached the person recording and attempted to take their phone, stating, “Don’t film me, or I’ll f***ing destroy you.”

Police Pursue Case as National Discrimination

The day after the incident, two Ukrainian workers arrived at the police station in Skawina to file a formal notification regarding criminal threats. Junior inspector Katarzyna Cisło stated that the officers handling the case, after viewing the recording, decided to also pursue the matter under the classification of national discrimination.

The spokesperson announced that the gathered evidence will be forwarded to the prosecutor’s office. Although the man’s identity is known to the police, he has not yet been detained.

Company Issues Statement Denouncing Aggression

The Stadnicki Group, for which the man worked, issued a statement declaring that the organization decided to take immediate and decisive action. The company stated that the individual no longer represents them in any capacity and expressed deep regret over the drastic event that harmed a representative of another company.

The management board emphasized that they firmly and unconditionally condemn all forms of aggression and violence, noting an absolute zero-tolerance policy for aggressive behavior regardless of context. The company added that the man’s actions were entirely private and unauthorized.

Assault on Ukrainians in Wrocław

Another case of nationally motivated aggression occurred on Sunday on Okulickiego Street in Wrocław. Junior inspector Aleksandra Freus of the Wrocław Municipal Police Headquarters stated that the victims of the beating were a 20-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man, both of Ukrainian nationality, whom social media footage showed being brutally attacked by three men.

Suspects Tomasz M. and Adam C. were detained on Monday evening, with Vyborcza.pl establishing that Adam C. is a boxer and gangster known as “Cycu” associated with the Gromda federation, a fact confirmed by prosecutor Jakub Dłubacz. Police are still searching for a third perpetrator, and the injured couple was hospitalized, with the woman requiring stitches for an ear wound.

Procurator Charges Wrocław Attackers

Junior inspector Aleksandra Freus noted that the aggression began with a queue dispute in a store before escalating into the street attack. On Tuesday, 27-year-old Tomasz M. and 45-year-old Adam C. were brought to the District Prosecutor’s Office for Wrocław-Psie Pole to face charges including battery and violence based on national belonging, classified as a hooligan offense, with Adam C. additionally charged as a recidivist.

Prok. Jakub Dłubacz of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Wrocław informed PAP that prosecutors will apply for the arrest of both suspects, who did not admit to the charges. Tomasz M. provided an explanation while Adam C. refused, and they face up to 5 and 7.5 years in prison respectively.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk Responds

Prime Minister Donald Tusk addressed the matters before the Tuesday meeting of the Council of Ministers, calling for a war against violence and hatred while stating that violent thugs and hooligans have gained courage due to political patronage.

Tusk directly addressed President Nawrocki, urging him to stop remaining silent and criticizing him for previously praising street brawls as noble masculine fights, pointing to the Gromda-style fighting seen in the incidents.
