Ten Pillars of the Rozw贸j Plus Association
Mateusz Morawiecki outlined the main program assumptions of the Rozw贸j Plus association, starting with a proposal for patriotism to become the compass for every decision. The former prime minister stated that economic, social, and international decisions will be guided by Poland’s interest and the values of Poles, rather than ideology or foreign capitals.
The second pillar involves respect for President Karol Nawrocki, whom Morawiecki described as the only statesman in Poland with the strong will of the nation behind him, serving as an institutional counterweight to a weak government.
Security, Migration, and Tax Policies
The third principle addresses Poland’s security, emphasizing a well-equipped army, Intermarium cooperation, NATO alliance, and permanent US bases as the number one foreign policy goal. Another proposal opposes the migration pact, stating that non-Polish citizens who grossly violate Polish law should lose their residency and face effective expulsion.
The politician also called for sealing the tax system to limit profit extraction abroad, using the funds to raise the second tax bracket and improve conditions for entrepreneurs.
Energy, Economy, and Government Overthrow
One of the pillars accelerates Polish nuclear energy development, prioritizing large nuclear power plants and small modular reactors while rejecting EU climate policies like ETS, ETS2, and the Green Deal. Morawiecki advocates returning to ambitious economic projects such as the CPK, rail development, ports, defense industry, Izera, and new technologies, alongside a digitized state under the “Poland in a smartphone” initiative.
The final point assumes removing the current government from power to let Poles rebuild the state.
Morawiecki’s Promise and ECR Resignation
Morawiecki emphasized that the 10 rules are a commitment to define future initiatives, promising courage, responsibility, and consistency rather than an easy path. Additionally, MEP Piotr M眉ller confirmed that Morawiecki resigned as chairman of the European Conservatives and Reformists fraction, explaining that the role was assigned to the second-largest party, which PiS will no longer be.
