Trump Meets Zelensky in the White House and Discusses Patriot Missiles

President Donald Trump hosted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House for closed-door discussions before attending a funeral.

White House Meetings

Trump first received Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House and subsequently met with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. The Oval Office talks were closed to the press and described by White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt as positive and productive.

“It is a great honor to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Many issues were discussed. The meeting went very well!” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social, attaching two photos with Zelensky.

In a subsequent post, Trump published photos from the Oval Office visit of Israeli Prime Minister, stating that during the conversation, many important topics were discussed. This was the first personal meeting between the two politicians since the US and Iran initiated the war with Iran.

Trump, Zelensky, and Netanyahu participated in the afternoon funeral service for Republican Senator Lindsey Graham at the Washington National Cathedral. Graham was a close ally of Ukraine and Israel and a close advisor to Trump.
