Zelenskyy Details Lublin Talks with Tusk After Wednesday Meeting

Following their meeting in Lublin on Wednesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk discussed bilateral issues, defense cooperation, and regional security.

Meeting in Lublin

The meeting between Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Volodymyr Zelenskyy has concluded. The Ukrainian leader stated that the Wednesday meeting in Lublin was very fruitful and that cooperation between the two countries benefits the whole of Europe.

After 6:00 PM on Wednesday, the President of Ukraine left the Lublin Voivodeship Office, where he held discussions with Prime Minister Tusk.

Bilateral Issues and Diplomatic Actions

Zelenskyy shared details of the discussions on social media, noting that they covered numerous bilateral topics, historical dialogue between the nations, and his diplomatic efforts in Washington.

Defense and Anti-Missile Cooperation

The leaders focused on defense cooperation and protecting cities and communities from Russian attacks, designating anti-missile defense as a priority. Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine’s security is also Poland’s security, strengthening the entire region and Europe.

Safety of Ukrainian Citizens

Zelenskyy also addressed the situation of Ukrainian citizens in Poland, stressing the importance of safety for those who fled the war. Following the meeting, Prime Minister Tusk stated on X that discussions included Polish investments in Ukraine, anti-ballistic cooperation, and support for Ukraine against Russian aggression.
