According to preliminary police findings, an 18-year-old driver of a Renault vehicle initiated an overtaking maneuver on a hill. He most likely lost control of the vehicle and subsequently struck the cyclist traveling from the opposite direction. A moment later, his car also collided with the vehicle he was attempting to overtake, a Renault driven by a 55-year-old man.

Emergency Response and Casualties

Emergency services were dispatched to the scene. Despite assistance provided, the life of the 76-year-old woman could not be saved, and she died at the scene. The drivers of both cars did not sustain serious injuries.
