The Presidium of the National Council of the Judiciary announced that Judge Łukasz Piebiak is temporarily restricted from accessing all documents containing legally protected personal information. Council spokesperson Jarosław Łuczaj confirmed this decision, citing the KRS’s responsibility as an administrator of personal data.

The Presidium has formed a special team to evaluate whether Judge Piebiak can continue performing his professional duties within the Council. This team is scheduled to convene this Thursday to assess the situation.

The Council’s restrictive measures follow a decision by the Minister of Justice to temporarily remove Judge Piebiak from his judicial duties.
