Collision at Dmowski Roundabout
A serious road accident occurred in the center of Warsaw involving a Forthing vehicle belonging to TV Republika. The car collided with a Mazda registered to the German Embassy and a Peugeot, causing the television crew’s vehicle to flip onto its side.
Despite the severe appearance of the crash in a busy intersection, no serious injuries were reported among the passengers of any of the vehicles involved.
Post-Accident Medical Assessment
The vehicle was occupied by a driver, journalist Sławomir Jastrzębowski, and MP Norbert Kaczmarczyk. Following the incident, the parliamentarian confirmed he attended scheduled votes before deciding to seek a medical examination at the MSWiA hospital on Wołoska Street, following advice from parliamentary colleagues.
Sławomir Jastrzębowski also addressed the incident, sharing images from the scene and confirming that all individuals traveling in the car emerged without major injuries.
Police Findings and Traffic Impact
Authorities determined that the driver of the Forthing vehicle was at fault for the accident. He was issued a fine of 2,500 PLN and received 10 penalty points.
The crash took place at one of Warsaw’s most congested transit points, where the intersection of Marszałkowska and Aleje Jerozolimskie typically experiences high volumes of vehicle, public transport, and pedestrian traffic.
