Starting Monday, June 29, the Mokotów-bound lanes of Aleja Niepodległości near Filtrowa will be closed to traffic, with vehicles in both directions diverted to the remaining side of the road.

Road Closures and Traffic Diversions

On Monday, June 29, the roadway of Aleja Niepodległości heading toward Mokotów will be closed at the intersection with Filtrowa. Drivers traveling in both directions will be funneled onto the opposite side of the road.

Ongoing Infrastructure Works

Since mid-June, tram operators have narrowed both carriageways of Aleja Niepodległości along the tracks. These operations were coordinated with heating infrastructure crews, who are now scheduled to renovate an underground chamber.

Timeline for Completion

This phase of the heating system maintenance is expected to continue until mid-August. Tram service along Aleja Niepodległości is scheduled to resume in mid-September.
