Cyclist Collapses in Szamoty; Resuscitated After Cardiac Arrest

A 60-year-old cyclist was resuscitated and airlifted to a hospital yesterday evening in Szamoty, Pruszków County, after suffering an apparent medical emergency and collapsing near the intersection of Nadarzyńska and Sportowa streets.

Incident and Emergency Response

The incident occurred at approximately 6:21 PM when a witness alerted authorities to an unconscious cyclist. Emergency responders, including the fire department, medical teams, and police, were immediately dispatched to the scene, along with the Air Ambulance service (Ratownik 12).

Upon arrival, rescue teams initiated intensive life-saving procedures. Rescuers successfully restored the man’s vital signs. Due to the severity of his condition, he was transported to a hospital via air ambulance.
