Fatal Car Crash in Czech Republic Claims Lives of Polish Mother, Child, and Family Friend

A tragic multi-vehicle collision on the D52 motorway in the Czech Republic resulted in the deaths of two women and a child, leaving a father and son hospitalized with serious injuries.

The incident occurred on Saturday just past midnight at the 21st kilometer of the D52 motorway near the village of Pohorelice in the South Moravian Region. The driver of one car collided with wild boars, while the driver of a second vehicle stopped to assist the passengers. A speeding third vehicle then crashed into both cars.

Michaela Bothová, spokesperson for the South Moravian Region Emergency Medical Services, stated that emergency crews attempted to resuscitate two women, but were unable to revive them. One man with serious injuries was transported by ambulance to the University Hospital in Brno, and two children with severe injuries were also treated.

Tragic Casualties and Hospitalization

A tragic accident in the Czech Republic resulted in the deaths of three Polish citizens. One of the injured boys was transported by helicopter to the Children’s Hospital in Brno, while the second boy was taken to the same facility. Police later reported that one of the children died from their injuries, and that all fatalities and injured individuals are Polish.

According to the Czech portal Tn.nova.cz, the location is a dangerous stretch of road where serious accidents regularly occur. A similar fatal traffic accident took place ten kilometers away in June.

Online Fundraising and Family Statement

Friends of the Polish family organized an online fundraiser to help the affected family, including costs for medical treatment and rehabilitation. The fundraiser description states that mother Patrycja, her son Hubert, and family friend Magda died in the crash, while father Marcin and second son Tymek survived with serious injuries and are fighting for physical and psychological recovery in a Czech hospital.

The injured man shared the fundraiser link to confirm its authenticity, writing that he does not know what to write as they fight for life in the hospital and his heart is broken after losing his wife, son, and friend.
