Knife Attack Near the Reservoir
The incident occurred on Friday, August 7, at around 8:00 PM on Ksi臋cia Bolka Street in Kamienna G贸ra, located in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. According to TVP3 Wroc艂aw, the attacker used a sharp tool to injure the 15-year-old several hundred meters from the reservoir where the Kamienna G贸ra Days celebrations were taking place. Radio Wroc艂aw reported that the perpetrator used a knife.
Victim Transported to Hospital and Police Manhunt
The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition, and a police manhunt for the perpetrator is currently underway. Officers have not yet established the identity of the attacker. Authorities are asking residents to remain calm and cautious, and to report any suspicious behavior.
Previous Stabbing During a Social Gathering
A knife attack in Kamienna G贸ra also took place on Monday, August 3. Katarzyna Trzepak from the County Police Headquarters in Kamienna G贸ra stated in a press release that the perpetrator stabbed a 33-year-old man in an apartment on Karola Miarki Street during a social gathering. Detectives found a knife believed to have been discarded by the attacker.
Hospitalization of the 33-Year-Old Victim
The man suffered life-threatening injuries to his abdomen area. Police officers were the first to provide him with aid, after which the 33-year-old was handed over to a medical rescue team and transported to the hospital.
Arrest of the Suspect in the August Attack
Police arrested an acquaintance of the attacked man, with the 30-year-old suspected of attempted murder. He will also face charges for making criminal threats and causing bodily harm to a witness of the incident. He faces up to life imprisonment. The District Court in Kamienna G贸ra granted the prosecutor’s request to place the man in temporary custody for three months.
