On August 7, Gazeta Krakowska announced a poll conducted between July 22 and 27 among a thousand residents using the Ariadna and SW Research online panels. It confirmed that 艁ukasz Giba艂a and Monika Pi膮tkowska would enter the second round.
Diverse Profiles of Mayoral Candidates
Marcin Duma points out that the lineup of candidates shows two different models of political career. 艁ukasz Giba艂a has been consistently striving for the opportunity to manage Krak贸w for over sixteen years. This is her first mayoral campaign in Krak贸w, but at the same time she is a candidate who brings administrative, managerial, and parliamentary experience, rather than years of baggage from previous local government campaigns, says Duma.

It is their strategies, ability to persuade voters, and the course of the campaign in the coming weeks that will determine the final election result, he concludes.
