At 6:30 a.m., police were alerted to a domestic altercation in the village of Łękawica, located in Wadowice County. A 48-year-old male victim was wounded by a sharp object and transported to the hospital; he was conscious during the transfer, though his condition remains unknown.
Manhunt and Arrest
Following the attack, the perpetrator fled into a nearby forest. Local authorities declared an alarm, deploying dozens of police officers, tracking dogs, drones, and a police helicopter to search the area.
Suspect Taken Into Custody
After 12:00 p.m., police confirmed that the suspect, identified as a man approximately 20 years of age, had been apprehended. Law enforcement officials have not disclosed the nature of the relationship between the suspect and the victim.
