Morning Collision on Aleja Krakowska Leaves 71-Year-Old Passenger Hospitalized

A two-car collision at a non-functioning traffic light intersection in Janki on Thursday morning resulted in one 71-year-old passenger being transported to the hospital.

On Thursday, July 23, at 6:54 AM, an accident involving two passenger cars—a Skoda and a Peugeot—occurred at the intersection of Mszczonowska Street and Aleja Krakowska in Janki.

Right-of-Way Violation at Unlit Traffic Light

Preliminary findings indicate that the 41-year-old driver of the Skoda, traveling on Mszczonowska Street from Wolica toward Warsaw, failed to yield the right-of-way at an intersection with non-functioning traffic lights. He collided with a Peugeot driven by a 68-year-old man traveling along Aleja Krakowska from Raszyn toward Sękocin.

Passenger Hospitalized After Medical Evaluation

The Peugeot was also carrying a 71-year-old passenger who sustained injuries in the crash. After being examined by paramedics, the man was transported to the hospital.
