New Political Trust Ranking: A Sharp Ascent and a Deeper Fall

Karol Nawrocki has surged to the top of the latest IBRiS trust ranking for Onet, while Rafał Trzaskowski faces his largest monthly decline in public support to date.

Record Trust Levels for Karol Nawrocki

Karol Nawrocki has become the new leader in the political trust ranking, achieving the best result in the history of IBRiS surveys conducted for Onet. Currently, 54.8 percent of respondents trust Nawrocki, an increase of 8.4 percentage points compared to the previous month.

This result surpasses the previous record held by Szymon Hołownia, who reached 54.4 percent in January 2024. Nawrocki’s support consists of 23.8 percent who “definitely trust” him and 31 percent who “rather trust” him, against 39.3 percent who express distrust.

Sikorski and Tusk on the Podium

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski maintained second place with 42.6 percent trust, a slight decline of 0.1 percentage points. Prime Minister Donald Tusk follows in third place with 38.1 percent, marking a 1.5 percentage point increase, though 57.6 percent of respondents still declare a lack of trust in him.

Other notable figures include Włodzimierz Czarzasty at 36 percent, Mateusz Morawiecki at 35.3 percent, and Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at 34.9 percent.

Trzaskowski and Bosak Experience Declines

Rafał Trzaskowski recorded one of the most significant drops in the rankings, with trust in the Warsaw mayor falling by 5.6 percentage points to 32.5 percent. This shift follows media reports regarding irregularities at the Southern Hospital in Warsaw.

Krzysztof Bosak also saw a clear decline, reaching 29.9 percent, which is 5.1 percentage points lower than the previous month. Jarosław Kaczyński follows with 28.8 percent, while Piotr Zgorzelski stands at 28.2 percent.

Grzegorz Braun’s Notable Rise

Grzegorz Braun achieved one of the most significant increases in the study, with trust in the Konfederacja Korony Polskiej leader rising by 7.3 percentage points to 23.7 percent. Krzysztof Gawkowski received 23.6 percent, and Sławomir Mentzen reached 23.4 percent.

At the lower end of the ranking, Adrian Zandberg holds 18.4 percent, Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz 15.7 percent, and Szymon Hołownia 14.5 percent.

Methodology

The IBRiS survey was conducted for Onet between June 19 and 21, 2026, using computer-assisted telephone interviews (CATI) with a representative sample of 1,100 Polish adults.
