Adam Bielan holds the strongest chances, though the final decision rests with Jarosław Kaczyński, who is currently influenced by the Ziobrist faction according to a DGP informant. An MEP associated with the butter faction in PiS argues that Bielan cannot accumulate more functions since he already leads the Law and Justice delegation in the ECR group, warning that the leader would be handing all posts to a single person. Tobiasz Bocheński enjoys good ratings with the party leader and carries no scandals, whereas Bielan represents the fat cats faction within PiS. PiS is set to announce the new chairman of the European Conservatives and Reformists Party within several weeks.

Morawiecki explained on Kanał Zero that the function of the European Conservatives and Reformists Party chairman was assigned to the second largest party within the ECR, namely Law and Justice. He referenced the Rozwój Plus association he established, noting that if their delegation is founded, it certainly will not be the second largest, making it appropriate to act honorably in such situations. The European Conservatives and Reformists Party is a right-wing European grouping associated with the European Conservatives and Reformists group in the European Parliament, featuring members such as the Civic Democratic Party of the Czech Republic and the Sweden Democrats, with the US Republican Party as a partner.
