Trzaskowski Names New Deputy Mayors of Warsaw

Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski has appointed Magdalena Młochowska and Izabela Marcewicz-Jendrysik as his new deputy mayors, filling the vacancies left by the resignations of Renata Kaznowska and Aldona Machnowska-Góra in July.

Following the resignation of Renata Kaznowska and Aldona Machnowska-Góra—a move prompted by the scandal at the Warsaw Southern Hospital—Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski has formally appointed their successors. Trzaskowski stated that the city administration is now entering a new stage of operation.

Professional Background of the Appointees

Magdalena Młochowska previously served as an undersecretary of state in the Ministry of Administration and Digitalization. Her career includes roles as the mayor’s plenipotentiary for tenant issues, director of the Housing Policy Office, and coordinator for green initiatives in Warsaw.

Izabela Marcewicz-Jendrysik brings extensive management experience in the healthcare sector. She has previously led the Copernicus Warsaw Medical Care Center and most recently served as the head of the National Institute of Geriatrics, Rheumatology, and Rehabilitation.

Current Municipal Administration Structure

The two new appointees will join the existing team of deputy mayors, which currently consists of Tomasz Mencina and Karolina Bober.
