Prosecutors Question President Nawrocki at Presidential Palace

President Nawrocki was questioned by prosecutors at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw on July 9 regarding an ongoing investigation into the alleged misuse of museum facilities in Gdańsk.

Details of the Presidential Testimony

The interrogation took place last Thursday in the President’s office. A prosecutor handling the investigation traveled to the Presidential Palace in Warsaw to conduct the questioning on July 9.

Prosecutor Duszyński stated that the contents of the testimony will not be disclosed. The statements will be analyzed alongside other evidence gathered during the proceedings.

Investigation Into Museum Facility Misuse

The investigation centers on the suspected abuse of power by public officials, specifically regarding the unauthorized, free use of rooms and apartments at the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk.

Initiated in February 2025, the case covers actions taken by museum directors between October 18, 2017, and June 2024. The investigation remains active and has been extended until August 24.
