Police Chase for Audi Driven by Intoxicated Ukrainian Man in Sochaczew

Police in Sochaczew chased an Audi bearing two Ukrainian nationals, one accused of drunk driving, after a report of an intoxicated driver caused a street collision and arrests.

Police Attempt to Stop Audi

At 19:00, officers on Płocka Street in Sochaczew tried to curb an Audi A4 that had been reported as possibly being driven by an intoxicated person.

Driver Escapes and Crashes

The driver initially slowed on a bridge but then accelerated, fleeing along Płocka and Traugutta Streets before losing control at the intersection with Licealna Street and striking a concrete fence.

Two Ukrainian Nationals Detained

The Audi carried two Ukrainian citizens; one attempted an escape but was pursued on foot by a policeman on Wróblewskiego Street and both were arrested, with one identified as intoxicated.

Investigation Continues

Police are determining which of the detained men was driving. Traffic on Licealna Street will soon resume.
