Polish readers’ poll shows Civic Coalition with 65% support as the preferred governing party, dwarfing PiS’s 21%.
Survey Results Show Strong Support for Civic Coalition
Under an article about current political moods and a question about who would have the best chances in parliamentary elections, a poll directed to readers was conducted. By January 22, 2026, over 15,000 votes were cast, indicating significant interest in the topic.
The Civic Coalition decisively won the poll with 65.12% of the votes, approximately 9,768 out of more than 15,000 responses cast. Such a high result may suggest that an increasing number of people are becoming convinced of the way this group governs or the political direction it presents.
PiS Trails Significantly Behind
Law and Justice came in second with 20.76% of the vote, or about 3,114 responses. Such a large difference from the winner may suggest that some voters are distancing themselves from the current form of governance or expect a different political style. The poll shows enormous polarization and concentration of votes around the two largest parties, with Civic Coalition dominating decisively.
Small Parties Fail to Gain Traction
Other political groups received only single-digit percentages of support. New Left received 3.82% (about 573 votes), Confederation 2.51% (about 377 responses), and Confederation of the Polish Crown 2.80% (about 420 votes). Such results may suggest that voters increasingly see smaller groups as no real alternative to the largest parties.
Even weaker results were recorded by Polska 2050, PSL and Partia Razem, which together did not exceed 2% of votes, or about 300 indications. This distribution suggests that the political scene is increasingly focusing on the biggest players, while smaller parties have difficulty breaking through with their message.
Significant Number Undecided
“I don’t know” was indicated by 1.91% of voters, or about 287 people, while non-participation in elections was declared by 1.10%, corresponding to about 165 votes.
