Teva Pharmaceuticals Launches Third Edition of the “Care with Care” Campaign

Teva Pharmaceuticals has opened applications for the third edition of its “Care with Care” initiative, a competition and campaign supporting non-profit organizations that provide emotional and practical assistance to patients.

Supporting Holistic Patient Care

Modern medicine extends beyond clinical treatment, as patients require empathy, guidance through the healthcare system, and emotional support. For three years, the “Care with Care” campaign has recognized non-profit foundations and associations that bridge critical gaps in the medical landscape by supporting patients and their families.

Ewa Królikowska, General Manager of Teva Pharmaceuticals Poland, notes that these organizations provide essential care that complements formal treatment. The initiative aims to strengthen these efforts, which significantly improve the daily lives of patients.

A New Focus on Mental Health and Neurology

The third edition of the competition emphasizes a comprehensive approach to health, featuring two categories: a general category and a special category dedicated to mental health and neurology. This structure addresses the growing need for integrated care in areas often overlooked in traditional clinical settings.

Previous editions have rewarded innovative projects, including animal-assisted therapy for children in oncology, digital support platforms for cancer patients, and mental health programs for youth. These initiatives demonstrate how non-clinical support directly impacts recovery outcomes.

Competition Details and Selection Process

Non-profit organizations can submit their projects until September 15, 2026, via the dedicated platform on the Teva website. A selection committee will evaluate entries based on their innovation, reach, and practical impact on patients and caregivers.

Following the selection of finalists, Teva employees in Poland will vote to determine four winning initiatives. A total prize pool of 120,000 PLN will be distributed as grants to support the ongoing operations of the selected organizations. The winners will be announced at a gala in November 2026.

Ambassadors and Professional Oversight

The initiative is supported by a panel of experts, including diabetologist Prof. Leszek Czupryniak, cardiologist Dr. Anna Słowikowska, health journalist Anna Augustyn-Protas, and psychologist Katarzyna Słomińska. Their involvement highlights the importance of human connection in the healing process.

The project operates under the honorary patronage of the Patient Ombudsman and the Institute of Patient Rights and Health Education. Media partners include PAP and Polish Radio Program 1, with “Newsweek Psychologia” supporting the special category for mental health and neurology.
