Two Bodies Recovered From Vistula River Near Legionowo

Two unidentified male bodies were discovered in the Vistula River this afternoon in the Legionowo district, prompting a police investigation.

Discovery Near Tuczników Island

The first body was found before 1 p.m. near Tuczników Island in Jabłonna. The report was confirmed upon arrival of emergency services.

The deceased was an unidentified man.

Second Body Found Near Rajszewo

Several hours later, around 4 p.m., authorities received another report of a body in the Vistula River, this time near Rajszewo. This second body was also a man and was in an advanced state of decomposition.

Investigation Underway

Police, under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office, secured both locations and conducted necessary investigative procedures, with the assistance of river police.

Autopsies Ordered

Both bodies have been transported to a forensic medicine facility for autopsies to determine the cause of death.
